Note 12 - Royalty and other income

The Company has a license agreement with Qiagen that began in 2005, whereby the Company earns quarterly running royalties on the net sales of Qiagen products subject to the license until the expiration of the patent on April 24, 2018. During the years ended July 31, 2015, 2014 and 2013, the Company recorded royalty income under the agreement of approximately $2,495, $4,408 and $5,144, respectively, which is included in the Life Sciences segment.
